STARTING WHERE YOU ARE

  • It's too fast/slow

    There are many different types and styles of yoga, you can find your perfect match.

  • I'm embarrassed about my body

    You will learn to embrace the glorious person you already are (we are more than just skin and bones surely?)

  • I'm worried I can't keep up

    As the focus in inwards and yoga is not a competitive sport, rest assured you will be fine.

  • I can't touch my toes

    We can improve flexibility and range of motion by retraining the nervous system to be quiet at deeper levels of stretch, improving the stretch tolerance.

  • I'm too busy

    Invest in yourself because, like the shampoo advert says, you're worth it.

  • I'm all aches and pains & fingers and thumbs

    Yoga serves to soothe you and we can work on your proprioception.

  • Suck it & See

    If you are tired of feeling like a pressure cooker, take the heat off yourself.  Yoga will compliment other areas of your life and then hopefully become part of your daily routine, maybe with or without you even noticing - you will become more yogic in your thoughts and actions, a little kinder to yourself and others.
